Are you are looking for a nice and quiet place? We warmly welcome you in our lodge just off the road going from Quito to Tena. Our cozy cabins are situated in a lush garden. Here, sitting from your lazy chair on the porch, you can see many species of birds, which among a regular visitor is the Cock of the rock.

Other neighbors are the owl monkey, living near the river and the agouti frequently walking in the garden, a great variety of butterflies can be seen.

 In our kitchen we prepare, pizzas, spaghetti, burritos, nachos, salads, stuffed tomatoes, chili con carne, enchiladas, all dishes can be prepared for vegetarians. We also serve wines from Chile, Argentine and Spain, cappuccino, latte, espresso and fresh fruit juices.

 This is the right place to relax or make some nice hikes before further exploring Ecuador.

 Baeza was once an important town for trade of products between the tropics and the highlands. It was founded in 1559 by a Spanish captain, Gil Ramirez Davalos, 18 years after Francisco de Orellana passed through this part on his quest to discover the Amazon. Situated at an altitude of 1911 meters the nights are crisp and the day temperature is around 20 Celsius. Average precipitation is around 2.200 mm per year, population 1.700
